For the 2014 Randwick project, we designed a formal front garden to complement the heritage of the semi, while the rear garden was transformed into a modern, low-maintenance oasis for relaxation and entertaining.
Scope of Work
For the Randwick Project, the following tasks were undertaken:
Site Assessment and Planning:
We carefully assessed the space to design a front garden that suited the heritage of the semi, while also creating a modern, functional outdoor area at the rear. The goal was to deliver a garden that balanced formal and contemporary elements and offered a relaxing retreat for the homeowners.
Design, Planting, and Installation:
The front garden was designed with symmetrical shapes, paving, hedging, and a feature tile pathway to complement the home’s heritage facade. In contrast, the rear garden was given a modern Hamptons-inspired design, with light colours, white timber elements, and lush tropical plants. A large, light-filled covered entertaining area was constructed to flow seamlessly from the internal living areas through floor-to-ceiling bi-fold doors. We incorporated an outdoor kitchen with custom joinery to complete the space and enhance functionality.
Clean Up:
Post-construction, our team ensured the site was thoroughly cleaned and ready for use. All debris was cleared, and we made sure that all garden features, including the paved areas, planting, and custom-built kitchen, were in place.
Outcome
The Randwick garden now offers a beautiful balance of formal design at the front and a contemporary, low-maintenance oasis at the rear. The rear garden, with its Hamptons-inspired elements, has become an ideal space for both relaxation and entertaining, seamlessly connecting to the home’s interior.
