Scope of Work
For the Curl Curl Project, the following tasks were undertaken:
Site Assessment and Planning:
We began by evaluating the space to create a layout that would maximise the available area while ensuring functionality for outdoor dining and socialising. The design focused on creating a balance between hard and soft elements to complement the coastal location.
Design, Planting, and Installation:
The design featured a spacious deck, slightly elevated to define a dedicated entertaining space. A custom bench seat added to the social aspect of the garden, offering a place to relax and gather. A tropical planting scheme, with species suited to the coastal environment, added lush greenery, while boundary hedging provided privacy. Carpets of Dichondra Silver Falls were used to soften the hard surfaces and bring harmony to the overall design. Materials like Travertine, Spotted Gum, and rendered walls tied the space together, creating a modern yet welcoming feel.
Clean Up:
Our team ensured the space was left pristine, removing all construction debris and performing a final inspection to guarantee everything was in place and ready for immediate enjoyment.
Outcome
The Curl Curl project successfully transformed the outdoor space into a low-maintenance, coastal entertainer’s garden. The combination of custom features, tropical planting, and warm timber finishes created a stylish and functional space for both relaxing and entertaining.
