Scope of Work
For the Ryde Project, the following tasks were undertaken:
Site Assessment and Planning:
We assessed the site’s slope and existing features to determine the best approach for creating functional, levelled zones. The goal was to make the most of the space for the young family while incorporating water-wise plants to enhance the garden’s sustainability.
Design, Planting, and Installation:
The rear yard was levelled off using sandstone retaining walls to create three distinct functional tiers. A large lawn area was established for play and relaxation, while hardy, water-wise plants were chosen for their aesthetic appeal and low-maintenance requirements. A spacious hardwood deck was added for entertaining, complete with integrated lighting to extend usability into the evening.
Clean Up:
Once the hardscaping and planting were complete, our team ensured that the site was cleared of any construction debris, leaving the space ready for enjoyment.
Outcome
The transformed Ryde backyard is now a functional, tiered garden with ample space for the family to enjoy outdoor activities. The integration of water-wise plants and a hardwood deck enhances the space’s practicality and aesthetic appeal, creating a beautiful, low-maintenance retreat for the family.
